Vegas leads after intriguing first roundpublished at 01:12 British Summer Time 16 May

Wow. What a finale to the first round of the 107th edition of the US PGA Championship.
Who'd have thought that Masters champion Rory McIlroy, would be 10 shots off the lead in a tie for 98th?
What about Europe's Ryder Cup captain Luke Donald, posting his best opening round in a major since 2004 with a bogey-free four-under 67 on a Quail Hollow course that is meant to favour the big hitters.
And fancy the top three players on the leaderboard, Jhonattan Vegas (70), Ryan Gerard (81) and Cam Davis (68) all being from outside the top 50 of the world rankings.
It was also a great day for British golfers with the likes of Aaron Rai, Matt Fitzpatrick, Tyrell Hatton and Robert MacIntyre all in the mix at three under.
You can read all about the other subplots involving the likes of world number one Scottie Scheffler and Bryson DeChambeau in our report.
We'll be back at 13:00 BST and you can listen to live radio coverage on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra from 18:30.
