Paul and Alan [14.24], how do you even dispute the penalty call? That’s not how to tackle in the box, sloppy defending. Pretty nailed on penalty.

I think Chelsea's tactics today have set the two teams apart.
Manchester United haven't been able to deal with the formation Chelsea have set out with.
Tactically in the first half, Chelsea have got it bang on and Manchester United have a bit to work on.

Manchester United came into this match on a winless run of four matches, including a 1-0 defeat by Chelsea in the league.
Chelsea, meanwhile, are unbeaten across the three domestic competitions this season.

Chelsea should just begin a league of their own or the Spanish league. They are shoulders above other teams. They are that good, and their two best players are not even in the game.

I think it's been a tense first half. Both teams were trying to settle into the game. It's been pretty even. The penalty sways it a little bit for Chelsea.
Man United have not been able to get hold of it going forward but they've been good defensively. Going forward they haven't been able to look after the ball.

Minutes ago I was saying United never get a penalty against Chelsea and surprise surprise, there's one for Chelsea. Soft is an understatement.

At least dreadful penalty decisions are consistently bad. Minimum (maximum effect), no control of the ball, no opportunity to score denied. Football really is a mess.

45 minutes of hard work undone. If I was Bizet’s teammates I’d be livid and demanding she’s subbed. In a game that’s a massive ask and you’re relying on small margins, you can’t be doing that.

Alexis Ohanian - the new board member and investor of Chelsea - and Serena Williams enjoyed that!
Ella Toone on the Manchester United bench is less impressed.

A huge moment for Sandy Baltimore, who has made such an impression since g this summer.
She took a few deep breaths before coolly stepping up to take the penalty and silenced the United crowd behind the goal.
Chelsea fans erupted at the other end, lifting up flags and banners and roaring at the sound of Baltimore's name from the stadium announcer.

An incredibly calm and composed finish. She's shooting into the end with Manchester United flags going ten to the dozen trying to put her off. She takes a big breath and calmly slots it into the opposite corner. A big moment for a big player.
