That's your lot for tonight, folks!

After four weeks without as much as making a final, Luke Littler returned to form in Birmingham to claim a record fifth nightly win.

The results tonight also mean it looks very much like a case of three players - Gerwyn Price, Michael van Gerwen and Nathan Aspinall - battling it out for the last two play-off spots.

With just three weeks remaining, that looks set to go down to the wire so be sure to us next week when the Premier League is in Leeds!

Night 13 winner Luke Littler, speaking to Sky Sports: "I'm very happy. The fifth nightly win was going to come at some point but it's been a few weeks since I actually won on a Thursday.

"So once I got over the finish line against Stephen [Bunting], I was confident. I got away with against Nathan [Aspinall] then it was cracking game [in the final].

On importance of finishing top: "It's something I've always thought in my head, playing the first semi-final is so crucial because there is not that big of a turnaround.

"But winning tonight, I'm nine points clear, so I'm very happy and very confident I'll stay at number one.

"There's still a few weeks left to play. It's getting a bit nitty, gritty at four and five between Nathan and Michael [van Gerwen] so I've done Nathan a favour by winning this one.

"I'm still looking at three, four and five. It's going to be a good few weeks watching them guys fight for top four while I'm cruising at the top.

"I've enjoyed it right the way through but I'll certainly relax. Luke [Humphries] isn't playing his best darts at the minute so I'm gradually building that point advantage over his so I'm confident I'll finish top of the table."

Another night, another record for Luke Littler.

The 18-year-old goes past the previous record of four nightly wins shared by Luke Humphries, Michael van Gerwen, Gerwyn Price, Michael Smith, Jonny Clayton and, erm, Luke Littler.

The world champion did so in style as well, averaging 102.5 in the final against MVG, who was at 94.31.

That scoring was the big difference with Littler 46.3% on the outer ring and Van Gerwen 50%.

He becomes the first player ever to reach that make since this format was introduced in 2022.

Michael van Gerwen had the chance to send this to a last leg decider after Littler missed a match dart.

But the Dutchman couldn't hit, Littler then sent a dart into the bed of double top and officially books his place at finals night.

Another 180 on his way to hitting double 10 to move to within a leg of a record-breaking fifth nightly win...

Luke Littler might well be going through the gears now but Michael van Gerwen is still fighting.

After The Nuke misses the bull for a 164 out, MVG finds double eight for a 14-darter.

What a leg of darts that is!

Luke Littler leads for the first time after a 12-darter, sealed on double 13.

Michael van Gerwen started the leg 180, 140 and didn't get a sniff of a double.

Littler turning it on now.

Not a great leg from Michael van Gerwen but he still gets a dart for a 4-2 lead.

However, he misses tops - his first miss at double in the match - and suddenly we're all square again.

Luke Littler was there waiting to punish any mistake and gets double top to break.

Luke Littler is still firmly in this final.

It's just the one break and he keeps it that way with a 120 out to hold.

It'll also please the teenager that he wins it on tops, which has caused him problems tonight.

Moments after Luke Littler misses double 16 for a brilliant 132 out - he hit the two bullseyes - the Dutchman takes out 72.

Tops to seal it again after superb 139 set-up on his previous visit.

Nobody seems to be able to hit them consistently and the theme continues with Luke Littler missing two at tops.

Michael van Gerwen is waiting on 74 and gets it by hitting - you guessed it - tops.
