How Nasa's new 'space fabric' could help astronauts

Nasa engineers are deg a new metallic "space fabric" that could make a massive difference to how space equipment is made in the future.

The 3D-printed material is foldable so it can easily change shape.

The US space agency needs to test it in space, but it thinks it could have many different uses - from protecting spacecraft to building spacesuits for astronauts.
