Your say - Weird words 2p2i2g

Too far gone 636x21

'Ser', 'estar' and 'haber' are difficult verbs for foreigners. A German colleague tried to say to a Spanish colleague 'I was looking for you at the party, but you were gone', but instead of saying 'Te busqué en la fiesta, pero te habías ido' he said 'Te busqué en la fiesta, pero estabas salido' which means 'I was looking for you at the party, but you were "sexually excited".
Another funny observation: No smoking sounds exactly, in Catalan, as No es moquin which means 'Do not blow your noses', to the great amusement of my little daughter when we were in London.
