Here is a simple French sentence I came up with as my Japanese teacher told us about sentences with only one vowel: Ça va ? Ha !?Tu vois ça là-bas ! Ouah ! Papa a la baraka ! Ah bah ça ! Which means "How are you? Ho! Look there! Wow! Dad is lucky! That's unexpected!"

An Australian friend of mine asked to read my Tagalog novel out loud (easy, as everything is spelled the way it's pronounced), and she got the impression that we use no other vowel than "A". Not true, of course.
There's a children's song we sing about a crab (Tong, tong, tong, tong/ Pakitong-kitong/ Alimango sa dagat/ Malaki at masarap/ Mahirap hulihin/ Sapagka't nangangagat), wherein a single verse is repeated but replacing all vowels with a,e,i,o or u on each repetition. Hilarious results! Imagine too, how a kid's face would look while doing this, especially when it comes to "i", "o" and "u".
