Kaffee und Kaiserschnitt 5o1r4n

In a coffee house in Vienna I once ordered Kaiserschnitt instead of Imperialschnitt which was that establishment's variant of chocolate cake. No wonder that the waitress looked puzzled as I had asked for a caesarean.

You should have ordered a Kaiserschnitte (Imperialschnitte) - the e in the end has to be pronounced. Der Schnitt means "a cut"; die Schnitte means "a slice".
