A pronounced smell 256p5u

My wife had to see a podiatrist in the large Brittany town near where we live. He spoke a little English and she spoke a little French. She was rather surprised to be asked if she had a "smell" in her shoe!
What he in fact asked was if she had a semelles (pronounced "smell"), an insole in her shoe.

Sorry, but in fact we pronounce "Se-mel".
"Smel" with the parisian accent. Also we don't pronounce the "S" at the end of the words.

An other example of the parisian accent. Take the name of the city
