Description

An animation telling the Gospel story of Jesus feeding the 5,000. A young boy’s meagre lunch of loaves and fishes is blessed by Jesus and miraculously feeds a large crowd of people that have gathered.

Classroom Ideas

Show to tell or recap the story of Jesus feeding the 5000 with bread and fish. Students can discuss what the message of this Christian story might be. They can discuss whether they think the story is meant to be taken literally or as a metaphor, and what the metaphor is. Collate these ideas onto a display. This can then form the basis for discussion of how different religious stories can be open to multiple interpretations.
