Description

A light-hearted guide to characters in “Sailmaker” by Alan Spence. A narrator and actors playing the roles of Alec, Davie, Billy and Ian establish what each character represents. Specifically, the narrator focuses on the changes that occur in Alec during the course of the play and how he gradually moves away from his working class roots. The contrast between Billy and Ian’s relationship and that of Alec and Davie is highlighted.
