Philipp Wollscheid completes Stoke City transfer

Philipp Wollscheid has made more than 100 Bundesliga appearances

Stoke have signed defender Philipp Wollscheid on a three-year deal from Bayer Leverkusen.

The 26-year-old has been on loan at the Britannia Stadium since January and has now signed for an undisclosed fee.

Chief executive Tony Scholes said: "He's clearly enjoying life in England and had no hesitation in committing his long-term future."

Wollscheid, who has won two caps for , has made 14 appearances for the Potters this season.
