Jennifer Lucy Allan presents adventurous and experimental sounds from across the universe of music. Featuring Ellen Arkbro, Catherine Lamb and Quinie.
Jennifer Lucy Allan presents adventurous and experimental sounds from the musical universe, past, present and future. Amongst her picks are a solo improvisation at the organ from Ellen Arkbro and a strangely familiar-sounding track from the archive courtesy of Pierre Henry and Michel Colombier’s mid-60s collaborations. Plus: Berlin-based composer Catherine Lamb combines forces with New York’s Ghost Ensemble for new work exploring slow-moving microtonalities, and singer Quinie invokes her Scots ancestry.
