Romesh's next guest is rapper and actor Bashy after his latest album 'Being Poor Is Expensive' received an applaudable reaction from music fans.
After taking a 15-year break from releasing music, Hammersmith, London’s rapper and actor Bashy drops by the studio to talk to Romesh about his brand-new album ‘Being Poor Is Expensive’. Romesh plays some of his favourite tracks from the rap, reggae and lovers-rock inspired album as Bashy talks through the nature of inner-city life and using music as a vessel to tell authentic stories about the Black British experience. There’s also music from Monie Love, Outkast, Snoop Dogg and Killer Mike.
