Zayn Malik started off his musical career by auditioning for the X Factor. Being put into a boy band by Simon Cowell, Zayn was a part of the mega-band One Direction. The band went on to great success!
Five years later, in 2015, Zayn left the band and went on to start his solo career. Embracing his alternative R&B sound, Zayn was the first British male artist to debut at number one in both the UK and US with his debut single 'Pillowtalk' and album 'Mind of Mine'.
