Tom Kitchin is one of Scotland’s most celebrated chefs. He owns and operates The Kitchen restaurant in Leith with his wife, Michaela.
On St Andrew’s night, however, he made the short trip over the road to The Citadel, a youth charity. The night was a culmination of his work with young people who use its facilities.
In conversation with The Kitchen Cafe, Tom explained why he became a er of the charity, how he began helping young people there gain experience working in a top-end restaurant and what went in to creating & serving at their own special St Andrew’s night event.
