Who do YOU think has been the top Premier League footballer this season?

The official list of contenders of the Best Player award have been announced.

There are eight players who have been shortlisted for this year's top prize.

The list includes three players from the champions, Liverpool: Captain Virgil van Dijk, Mo Salah and Ryan Gravenberch.

Two stars from Nottingham Forest's squad: Morgan Gibbs-White and Chris Wood.

Newcastle and Brentford are represented by strikers Alexander Isak and Bryan Mbeumo, and also nominated is Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice.
