Couple get engaged at Bristol Balloon Fiesta

A couple got engaged in front of massed crowds at the Bristol Balloon Fiesta.

In the build-up to the first Nightglow of 2024 on Friday, balloonist Aaron Stone was interviewed by BBC Radio Bristol's Joe Sims - and took the opportunity to propose to his ballooning partner, Carolyn Michele.

Carolyn was visibly shocked - but said yes.

The couple are one of the many ballooning teams at the annual fiesta.
