An e-bike rider suffered a serious leg injury in a crash with a car near Redruth in Cornwall.

Police said officers were called at about 17:05 GMT on Saturday to the crash on Agar Road in Pool.

The rider was taken to hospital with a serious leg injury, but it was not considered life-threatening, officers said.

The road was reopened by 19:50 GMT, said police.
