Police probe unexplained death of woman in Glasgow

Police are investigating the unexplained "sudden death" of a woman in an incident in Glasgow.

Emergency services were called to Eccles Street in the city's Springburn area at about 08:25.

A large cordon was put in place near a block of highrise flats with police and ambulance vehicles at the scene.

Police Scotland said the death was being treated as unexplained and inquiries are ongoing.
