Tottenham victory parade: All you need to know

PA Spurs players celebrating their win holding the trophyPA
Spurs won the Europa League in Bilbao on Wednesday night

Tottenham Hotspur will celebrate their first European trophy for 41 years with an open-top bus parade in north London on Friday.

Spurs enjoyed one of the great nights in their history with a 1-0 win over fellow Premier League strugglers Manchester United in Bilbao.

The Europa League victory parade is expected to depart from Edmonton Green at about 17:30 BST, the club confirmed, and will trundle its way on the two-mile journey to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Fans can also expect a Q&A session at the ground from 15:00.

Map of Parade route

What will the route be?

It will go southbound on the Broadway/Fore Street towards the High Road, eastbound past the stadium via Lansdowne Road, northbound via Willoughby Lane and end westbound via Northumberland Park.

How long will the parade take and when should you get there?

The club expects the parade to last between 60 and 90 minutes, finishing in the stadium's service yard adjacent to Sainsbury's on Northumberland Park.

There will be a stage above the High Road outside the stadium on Paxton Terrace to receive the players and coaching staff for a presentation of the trophy to fans.

There will be a DJ, live music and a "legend" Q&A session from 15:00.

Will it be livestreamed?

Fans will be able to watch a livestream of the event on the Tottenham Hotspur official website, app and YouTube channel, with various screens along the route too.

How do fans get there?

Fans are advised not to drive to the event. There will be numerous road closures from 11:00.

There will be a controlled parking zone in operation, as on matchdays, with additional parking bay suspensions across the parade route and connecting streets.

Edmonton Green, Silver Street, White Hart Lane and Bruce Grove stations on the Weaver Line all serve the parade route but fans are advised that they may need to walk to their desired locations as the stations will be very busy.

A full list of road closures is available on the club's website.

Do you need tickets?

It is not a ticketed event.
