Woman sexually assaulted by young boy

A woman has been sexually assaulted in the street at lunchtime by a boy who was believed to have been aged 11 or 12.

Northamptonshire Police appealed for witnesses after a woman was approached and touched inappropriately on High Street in Woodford, near Thrapston.

It happened on Tuesday, 17 December, between 12:00 and 12:30 GMT, before the boy walked away in the direction of Mill Road.

A police spokesperson said: "The suspect is described as a white boy, aged 11-12, with short, light brown hair and wearing a black bomber jacket and blue jeans."
