Schools closed due to burst water pipe
BBCPupils at two schools have been told to stay at home due to a burst water pipe.
The Commonweal Sixth Form School and Lethbridge Primary School in Swindon, Wiltshire, closed earlier as they had no water.
Utility company Thames Water said it had repaired the burst pipe at Collard Close but it would take "a couple of hours" for water pressure to return to normal.
GCSE and A-Level exams at Commonweal School are still taking place, but Year 10 mock exams were postponed due to the disruption.
In a statement, the school's headteacher Charles Drew said all students - except for those with external exams - "should stay at home and engage in remote learning".
Thames Water warned drivers could face delays while work was ongoing.
"We are currently refilling the pipes after repairing the burst section.
"Although our pipe has been repaired, it'll take us a little longer to get the road back to normal.
"Sorry for the impact this may have on traffic in the area, and any delays to your journey," the company said.
