Part of motorway closes after three lorries crash

Three lorries were involved in the collision on the M25

Part of a motorway was closed following a crash involving multiple HGVs.

National Highways shut the M25 heading anticlockwise between Junction 17, for Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire, and Junction 16, for the M40 and Uxbridge, London, at about 12:00 BST.

Thames Valley Police said three lorries were involved and there were no significant injuries.

Drivers have been told the road could remain closed until 14:30 and to expect delays.
