Police are investigating a fire at a former restaurant in Fife.

Emergency crews were called to the incident on Kirkcaldy High Street at about 20:30 on Sunday.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service dispatched six appliances to the fire in the empty ground-floor unit in a three-storey block before it was extinguished at about 23:40.

No-one was injured but inquiries into the cause of the blaze are ongoing.
