The BBC Philharmonic Ensemble, directed by violinist Zoë Beyers, return to Kendal Leisure Centre in the heart of Cumbria for an evening of unmissable live music.
Enjoy a performance featuring works by Elgar and Tchaikovsky – probably two of the best writers for strings. In between, Vaughan Williams’s pastoral oboe concerto, played by Alexei Ogrintchouk, and Schubert’s lyrical Rondo will provide a varied but sublime filling for the serenade sandwich.
