In light of the Government’s recent advice on COVID-19 and in consultation with our venue partners, we have decided to suspend all activity from the BBC Orchestras and Choirs, with immediate effect. About This Event

Even Bach knew he had written something very special with his St Matthew ion, referring to it as his favourite. The richness of his music and its illumination of the text remain as moving now as they were in 1727, and the sincerity of the composer’s devotion continues to shine through.
