About This Event

of the BBC Symphony Chorus and Proms Youth Choir Academy collaborate with Barbican Young Poets to create performances of this moving choral piece by Pulitzer Prize-winning composer David Lang, written to the mark the centenary of the Battle of the Somme.

The BBC Orchestras and Choirs learning programme is committed to adventurous and innovative education work with three core strands of focus: introducing new audiences, creative projects and nurturing talent.
