On the anniversary of his death, the BBC Singers perform a concert of musical settings of the Welsh-born poet, George Herbert. Conductor Rupert Gough makes his debut with the group in a programme that includes settings by leading British composers, including Vaughan Williams’ Five Mystical Songs and BBC Singers Associate Composer Judith Weir’s setting of Vertue.
