About This Event

The BBC Concert Orchestra and BBC Radio 3 bring back into the spotlight five forgotten female composers on International Women's Day.

The composers - Leokadiya Kashperova, Marianna Martines, Florence B Price, Augusta Holmès and Johanna Müller-Hermann - were chosen after being championed by academics studying their work. They will be performed live on BBC Radio 3, presented by Fiona Talkington and conducted by Jane Glover.
