Concert Information
Within Her Arms by Anna Clyne was composed in 2008 in memory of her late mother, while Haydn’s Symphony No. 49 earned its nickname ‘The ion’ as a result of its dark-hued and sombre character. Soprano Anu Komsi sings Magnus Lindberg’s powerful statement in of human rights and democracy, Accused, conducted by the BBC SO’s Chief Conductor Sakari Oramo.
