Diwali Firework Picture

Diwali is the festival of light and lots of people around the world celebrate together by watching firework displays. Make a colourful firework picture to celebrate Diwali at home or in the classroom.

You will need
  • Coloured paper
  • Paper straws
  • Paint
  • Glitter
  • Sticky tape

How to make a Diwali firework picture

  • Get six straws and tape them together

  • Then bend them in different directions to make a star shape

  • Dip the star shape in the paint and press down on the paper

  • Repeat these steps again if you want to use a different colour 

  • Then you can add glitter to the paint, shake off the access if needed
