Mr Square, Mrs Circle and Mrs Triangle sunbathe on the beach.

Aujourd’hui il fait beau. Monsieur Carré, Madame Cercle et Madame Triangle sont à la plage.

Ils nagent dans la mer, ils jouent au foot et ils font un château de sable.

Ils ont faim, donc ils mangent des frites et ils boivent de la limonade.

Mrs Triangle finds a treasure map

Tout à coup, il fait du vent.

Madame Triangle trouve une carte au trésor.

« Regardez ! J’ai trouvé une carte au trésor. Allons chercher le trésor ! »

Madame Cercle et Monsieur Carré ne sont pas intéressés.

Ils sont contents et ils aiment bien manger leurs frites.

Mrs Triangle, Mrs Circle and Mr Square are lost.

« Allons-y ! » dit Madame Triangle.

Ils marchent sur la plage. Ils tournent à gauche au café, puis à droite et à gauche.

Ils cherchent une île, mais ils sont perdus et ne la trouvent pas.

Mrs Triangle, Mrs Circle and Mr Triangle ask the orange cat for directions.

Madame Cercle est furieuse. Ils rencontrent un grand chat orange.

« Bonjour Monsieur Chat. Nous sommes perdus. Pouvez-vous nous aider s’il vous plaît ? » demandeMadame Triangle.

Le grand chat orange est très intelligent. Il dit « Tournez à gauche. Continuez tout droit. Nagez dans la mer bleue.»

Madame Triangle dit « J’aime bien nager ! »

Monsieur Carré dit « Moi, je n’aime pas nager ! »

Les amis prennent le bateau.

Madame Triangle dit « Allons-y ! Tournez à gauche. Continuez tout droit. »

Mrs Triangle falls into the sea.

Madame Triangle tombe du bateau.

« Oh non ! » dit Madame Cercle.

Heureusement, Madame Triangle aime bien nager dans la mer bleue.

Mrs Triangle discovers the treasure chest of monsters at the bottom of the sea.

Madame Triangle nage dans la mer bleue.

Elle trouve un coffre au trésor. Elle ouvre le coffre. Dans le coffre, elle trouve deux petits monstres.

Un monstre est bleu et il a des grandes jambes orange.

L’autre monstre est rouge et il a des petites jambes bleues.

« Ouah ! Bonjour petits monstres. Ça va ?» dit Madame Triangle. « Vous êtes mes nouveaux amis ! »

In English, we use inverted commas or speech marks to indicate when someone is speaking:

  • "Let's go!" says Mrs Triangle.

In French, punctuation marks called are used instead:

  • « Allons-y ! » dit Madame Triangle.
